Program terms
- Commission
- 30% of the revenue a referred customer actually pays Diamond Tree during their first 12 months, on paid conversions only. Free trials do not earn until they convert to a paid plan.
- Attribution
- Last-touch, with a 90-day cookie window. A discount code also credits readers who click through later or type the URL directly. If two partners touch the same customer, the most recent referral is credited.
- Eligible customers
- New Diamond Tree accounts only. You cannot refer your own account or your own team’s seats.
- Payouts
- Paid monthly by PayPal or Wise once your balance passes $20. Each commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment clears, so refunds resolve before any money moves.
- Fair play
- No bidding on “Diamond Tree” or close variants in paid search, no spam, and no misrepresenting the product. We may withhold commissions for fraud or abuse, and either of us can end the partnership at any time — earned, vested commissions are still paid.
- Taxes
- US partners provide a W-9 (we issue a 1099 to anyone paid $600 or more in a year). International partners provide a W-8BEN and are paid via Wise.
Questions
- Do I need to be a Diamond Tree customer?
- No. You can partner with us whether or not you use the product yourself.
- What counts toward my commission?
- Real, paid conversions — when someone you referred becomes a paying Pro or Team customer. Free trials do not pay out until they convert to a paid plan.
- What if a reader signs up a few weeks later?
- You are still credited. Attribution uses a 90-day last-touch window, and if they use your discount code you are credited even without the original click.
- When and how do I get paid?
- Monthly, by PayPal or Wise, for any balance over $20. Each commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment clears, so refunds resolve cleanly before money moves.
